Vibration Test is used to demonstrate the tolerance of spacecraft against vibration environment imposed during launch of a rocket. There are three vibration test facilities at Tsukuba Space Center (Large Vibration Test Facility, Small Vibration Test Facility, and Vibration Test Facility For Small Satellite),to test space objects such as rocket components, spacecraft systems, and satellite components using electro-dynamic shakers. Each test facilities have capability to analyze acquired vibration data to capture structural dynamic characteristics of a test object. Each facility also has the capability to protect test object from excessive vibration by monitoring the vibration response and by controlling the vibration level. | |||
